Present not the Past

The essay “Where I Lived and What I Lived For”, by Henry David Thoreau is about how the world has become so depended on other thing rather then people doing thing themselves. He talks about how we are so into the news rather then find things out ourselves. It also states how we take information to fast, we don’t think before we act. We think that it is better get information on the internet whether then get information from a good source. Sometime, I wonder what it would be like if we weren’t like this, if we would just not use the internet so much. The history of the country is what builds us today, but life today is nothing like what it was back in the past.
